The Questions of Free Will being apart of God’s Will

23 01 2010

Free Will has always been hard to explain and still isn’t fully understood so to even grasp the idea of Free Will we must ask ourselves a few questions about Free Will.

What is Free Will? Free Will has been defined by people as: The ability to choose and lead one’s own life, The ability to do as one wants to do in any circumstance, and A liberty or freedom to do all that man can do but having certain boundaries that apply to everyone. The last definition shows that it isn’t an action but a liberty

That brings us to our next question. What are the boundaries of Free Will or does Free Will have no boundaries? Well a man can do many things but he can’t fly nor can he hold his breath forever. Even though he has the liberty do what he wants too do it is still physically impossible for him to do what he wants to do so thus he has definite boundaries.

So does Free Will Exist? Well let’s look at some ideas:

1. If Free Will is viewed as a Liberty not an action then Free Will can exist.

2. If Free Will has boundaries then it does not contradict with the ability of what man can do but shows instead that man has freedom in areas that he can’t physically and spiritual do. In other words man can do all that man can possibly do but has definite boundaries put in place by God.

3. If Free Will does not have boundaries then it can’t exist for man can’t do all that he wish he can do and Free Will also contradicts God’s Will instead of being in God’s Will if it doesn’t have boundaries.

Yet an argument remains if their is Free Will or if we’re just robots because God knows all and is all-powerful and so we don’t have Free Will because God has ultimate control over our lives but their is no argument if Free Will is viewed correctly.

Let’s say you have a dog. A dog can do all that a dog can do but it is subjected to its master. If you tell your dog to heel or fetch it does what you have trained it to do.

God is are Master and even though we choose to do right or wrong we will always end up being where God wants us to be. However it is best to do what God commands us to do because He loves us. If we do wrong God teaches us and we learn from are mistakes in the end. This is all possibly not by anything we do but because of God working in us.

Therefore without a doubt we do have Free Will because we can do all that man can do and we have liberty even though God is ultimately in control God grants us the ability to choose and to do all that man can do and yet He already knows all and He can do anything He wants to do.

Having said this God gives us Free Will and so it is are responsibility to use this gift of Free Will wisely. The great news is even though we mess up God preserves us and puts us back on course when it comes to doing His Will.

Now having search for the truth about Free Will and how that fit’s in God’s Will we can finally come to the conclusion that Free Will is a liberty that has definite boundaries that truly does exist because it does not contradict in anyway when viewed correctly and it also fits in to God’s Will for us.

True Treasure

23 01 2010
“Meaningless! Meaningless!” said Solomon. Solomon was wise and finally found out that all is meaningless except one thing changes that. God, with God everything has a purpose when it is done to bring God glory.
I came to the conclusion that one great treasure I can seek out is people’s souls. When I die I can bring nothing with me but… I can seek to store up a treasure in Heaven. By creating friendships with people I can then tell them about salvation. I want to see my family, friends, and other people in Heaven. The soul is the treasure but the great part of the treasure is when it’s is clean up so it can shine… The working of salvation

The Hard Lessons I’ve Learned

23 01 2010
Lesson 1. Popularity

I always wanted to be cool. I got my hair cut and dyed just to get attention. I acted all cool but ended up feeling like an idiot. I tried impress girls but I just end feeling fake because I was being fake. I thought having the world would be great but the cost of it drove me mad so I decided to disappear since I didn’t know how to be real. I became my nightmare… A Shadow because I was only there to be used by people and then I was gone having never been really known. I was told I was cool and that everyone liked me but it wasn’t me they liked but only what I did. I came to the conclusion that popularity is a trap. You get hooked and then burned left to wallow in emptyness. Depression can’t be cured by the world for it’s the disease.

Only Love can heal the broken hearted

Lesson 2. It’s not what you can get it’s what you can give.

I have gone to alot of churches even when I finally came to LPC I ended up visting another church becaues I thought I didn’t belong and wasn’t getting what I thought I needed.

The truth is The Church isn’t a museum for saints but it’s a hospital for sinners. It’s better to give then to get when it comes to doing the right thing because when you give you finally get what you need to feel better.

Lesson 3. Everyone needs to be cared for and shown the love that Christ has shown us.

I have been down many times but the worse has always been when a friend of mine is hurting inside/physically or both. I would like to say that everyone of my friends recovered but truthly I don’t know. All I know is God is watching over each of them. I am thankful that they are my friends even though we may not even speak to each other.

Closing… I am thankful that God is good and has always helped me through the hardships. He has taught me many things and I am thankful that He has shown me love though I don’t deserve it. I hope you know that no matter what God is laways there with you and will help you along through life.

Apologetics

23 01 2010
Apologetics is hard for me to explain since I’m no expert when it comes to apologetics.

The one quick definition that I thought of for apologetics is being a witness for Christ in every aspect of your life.

The main reasons why we don’t tell others about God and Salvation is because:
1. We get nervous
2. Rather be tolerant
3. Rather procrastinate
4.We don’t know what to say
5. Etc…

However if we have faith we can overcome any reason why we don’t tell others about the Gospel . For if we have faith in God we know that with Him all things are possible. We don’t need to be nervous because God’s in control of situation all you have to do is Go! Do what He says! When you don’t know what to say ask God for it. God will lead you and let know what to say just Open Your Mouth and Speak! God has used me in ways I never thought possible and I have said things to others in such extreme ways that I couldn’t believe that I was speaking… and truthly it was all God doing all the work and I just followed Him.

Don’t be tolerant and/or procrastinate about telling others about all that God has done for us. An Athiest once said “How much do you have to hate me not to give me this? not to tell me?” He was talking about being given a Bible and being told about Salvation.

Now ask yourself… How much do I have to hate my friends to want to see them go to Hell?

If your not telling your friends about the Gospel then who is?

Don’t you love them?

I don’t mean to hurt anyone who is reading this… I just want the world to know about the only thing that can fill the huge gap that people have in their hearts. You are my friend and so I tell you so that you can tell your friends and so they can tell their other friends until all know that God is are all in all.

Next week or the following I hope to tell you how much of a treasure you really are and the other amazing treasures that last forever.

I hope you have a great Christmas.

Your Brother in Christ to all believe in the One True God.
The wretch who’s in progress of being perfected,

The Root of Sin

23 01 2010

Dear brothers and sisters,

I write this to you today so that we may grow together to serve God so that He alone may be glorified.

     From your Wretched Brother

                     Now on to the subject

The root of sin is pride to me and most likely it’s the same problem for you. Pride can be seen to be a issue all the way back at the beginning when the “Fall” happened in Genesis Chapter 3.

Pride tends to have a stronghold on us. If you ever read This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti you might have noticed that Stronghold was a demon mentioned in the book and so were many other demons which caused problems for people but the angels came to the rescue. Now I’m not saying that demons are controlling use but we should realize that angels and demons are very real and do exist. We need to start fighting are pride otherwise it will consume us and we will become extremely desensitized.

Their are four ways I would like to mention right now that can help you fight sin:

1.Read your Bible and do your best to apply what you read to your life.

 2. Pray, pray, and oh yeah; pray!

3. Fellowship with others… Not speaking and watching whatever but sharping each other by speaking about Godly things (Talking or watching things that don’t do with God are not necessarly wrong.)

4. Love!… Not the boyfriend girlfriend kind of love or love like I love your own car but… Love like a Martyr being stone, wipped, burn, stretched, beaten, stabbed, etc… whatever pain they suffer through love like that martyr who looks up and says with tear in his or her eyes I love you!

This is Chapter 1 of the Heart Wrench for fine tuning of the Heart.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely, Daniel
